Currently, Boudjebel is the world’s leader in the export of Deglet Noor dates and exports also other date varieties all around the world.
With more than 18000 tons of dates, of all origins, shipped to the four corners of the world per annum, Boudjebel has approved its position as a leader in the international dates market.

Lobbying for the date sector
Boudjebel is constantly lobbying for the date sector. We are especially fighting for:
- International Promotion of Dates
– Simplification of export administrative mechanisms (Tunisian Federal Bank, customs’ procedures)
– Creation of an observatory for the development of external date markets
– Reflection on the creation of a fund for the promotion of dates (financed by all stakeholders in the sector)
- Governance of the Date Sector
– Improvement of the coordination of the various sector stakeholders (Ministry of Agriculture, Research Centers)
– Greater involvement of grassroots structures (Mutual Agricultural Service Companies, Agricultural Development Groups)
Expertise
Knowing that quality begins in the orchards, we got involved upstream by being present in the oasis, creating more than 600 long-term partnerships with producers and collectors. Our work is valued with more than 20 certifications and, in 2021 we have received the prestigious Al Khalifa Award for Pioneering Development and Productive Projects.
