Diced Dates
Diced dates are produced from dates that are crushed, macerated and mechanically cut into uniform pieces. Thanks to the naturally consistent texture of this variety, the resulting dices present a regular, standardized shape with clean edges and a naturally brown color. The product is available in calibrated sizes of 5–8 mm and 8–10 mm, ensuring consistency and ease of use in industrial applications.
To improve flowability and prevent sticking, the diced dates are lightly coated with rice flour. Their soft yet structured texture, combined with a mild and pleasant sweetness, makes them particularly suitable for a wide range of food formulations where visual appeal, texture and taste are essential.
Diced dates are supplied in bulk or retail formats and stored under cold conditions to preserve quality. They are widely used in bakery and pastry applications, biscuits, confectionery, cereal-based products, breakfast items and dairy toppings. Their versatility makes them ideal for incorporation into cereal and protein bars, cookies, cakes, muffins, granola, muesli and yoghurt toppings, where they contribute natural sweetness, texture and visual appeal without the need for artificial ingredients.
