Soft Cookies with Date Filling

Product used: Natural Date Filling (available in conventional and organic)
Ingredients (makes 12 cookies):
- 200 g flour
- 100 g soft butter
- 1 egg
- 60 g raw sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 150 g date filling (available in conventional and organic)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg and vanilla.
- Mix in flour and baking powder to form a soft dough.
- Take small amounts of dough, flatten them, and place a spoonful of date filling inside.
- Seal and shape into balls, place on baking sheet, and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.
